Letter regarding the petition of Nasir al-Din Shah's wives and daughters
The writer is sending an envelope containing the petition of wives and daughters of the late Nasir al-Din Shah and explains the hardships they are going through and that if the current condition continues they will have to take their appeals to one of the foreign embassies. The author asks the king [Muzaffar al-Din Shah?] for immediate action and a response. The second document is a draft of the same letter in which some parts of it has been rewritten several times.

Fatimah Khanum ‘Izzat al-Saltanah (‘Izzat al-Dawlah) writes to her husband, ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, telling him that the Shah sent Amin al-Haram to her to tell her that he telegraphed Farmanfarma to buy one third of Alanjiq village from him. ‘Izzat al-Saltanah responded that Alanjiq belongs to her, not Farmanfarma, and that she has it in the Shah's handwriting that he bestowed it to her. Telegram from ʻIzzat al-Saltanah to Hakim al-Mamalik, 1900
ʻIzzat al-Saltanah writes about the hot weather in ʻAtabat, her heat intolerance causing her more panic attacks, her children not being well and their longing for their father, the difficulty of being far apart from her husband for the past three years, and her financial problems. She asks Hakim al-Mamalik, the Minister of the Court, to mention her situation to Muzaffar al-Din Shah and get his permission for her to go to Damascus with her children and husband during the summer.
